Southern talavera flower planters are produced in two sizes. Red and green pattern painted over yellow color is a true expression of Mexico old European heritage. Planter "RJ516" has been southern using no lead paint waterproofed with transparent glaze. In time Mexican ceramic pottery develops crazing. It is unavoidable and typical of talavera planter aging process.
