South east talavera flower planters are produced in two sizes. Cobalt, yellow, green and red pattern painted over blue color is a true expression of Mexico old European heritage. In warmer climate you can keep flowers in them outdoors all around the year. In geographical areas where temperatures drop below freezing move them from your garden, veranda or yard for the winter indoors. Planter "RJ517" has been south east using no lead paint waterproofed with transparent glaze. In time Mexican ceramic pottery develops crazing. It is unavoidable and typical of talavera planter aging process.
