Rustic Hood Copper MaintenanceMaintenance of the rustic hood copper is simple. Abstain from applying abrasive, coarse and alcohol based cleaners. No steel wool, brillo pads nor wire brushes of any kind. They might scratch the copper. Clean with hot soapy water using a soft nylon brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a towel. Avoid prolong surface exposure to acidic food including tomato sauce and citrus fruit. If the hood copper remains in direct contact, it may effect its color.
