Mexican MirrorsMexican mirrors are handcrafted in San Miguel de Allende. The town is located in central Mexico and is specializing in punched tin including decorative mirrors. Tin mirror frames are made in various shapes, often decorated with mosaic ceramic tiles. Occasionally, they are called tile mirrors or tin tile mirrors. Since there are more than thousand different talavera patterns, the combination of punched tin frames and hand painted ceramics decorating them is endless. The designs used for mexican mirrors might have fork art, hacienda, Spanish, Texas and Southeastern character.
