Colonial talavera flower planters are produced in two sizes. Blue, red, yellow, green, black and orange pattern painted over white color is a true expression of Mexico old European heritage. In warmer climate you can keep flowers in them outdoors all around the year. In geographical areas where temperatures drop below freezing move them from your garden, veranda or yard for the winter indoors. Planter "RJ512" has been colonial using no lead paint waterproofed with transparent glaze. In time Mexican ceramic pottery develops crazing. It is unavoidable and typical of talavera planter aging process.
