Round, Copper and Zinc Tabletops

onIf you want to add a unique element in your dining room that will revamp the décor and also offers a pleasant family time, consider our round, copper and zinc tabletops. Round is a perfect shape to save some space, especially if you have an open concept kitchen combined with a living space. The hand-hammered metallic tabletops will make a dramatic opening for the rest of your layout and they create the perfect scenery for formal occasions, like a dinner party or a holiday meal. Being so distinct from each other, both metal offers exclusive looks and sophistication. Additionally, you can use the table base your previous table had or go for a totally new and surprising look.
Our rustic dining room collection provides round and rectangular tabletops in an array of styles that appeal through the way of the hammering and patina choice. Therefore, even if you buy the same kind of round copper table, it will bring an entirely different feel if it is ordered in polished zinc or greenish, oxidized copper. If you are falling for a Spanish, Colonial or generally speaking old-world décor, we would recommend you to order your table with a dark or natural copper patina. This type of dining room furnishing will bring warmth and timeless charm to your home décor. It is easy to match with wooden pieces of furniture and generally speaking rustic decoration such as iron lighting fixtures. On the other hand, if a contemporary or even minimalist approach is your thing, consider zinc as your first options. This greyish metal is also perfect for commercial spaces because it seems quite neutral and can be introduced in many styles of restaurants, bars and coffee, apart from private homes. Round, copper and zinc tabletops are perhaps not the typical choice for a standard family but it is where its true value lies, in its uniqueness. The easiest thing would be to buy an Ikea table that will survive about 5 years of heavy use and will not contribute whatsoever to make your home stand out from the crowd. With our handcrafted and make-to-order products, you probably will spend a little bit more and wait longer to get it delivered, but you are buying a one-of-a-kind item that will serve for decades or even centuries. Both copper and zinc, if maintained accurately, are extremely durable materials.
copper and zinc tabletops are handmade using particleboard covered with metallic sheeting. For commercial use such as in restaurants and bars, we use thick plywood instead. In addition, all hammered copper for kitchen, dining and bathroom is made of 99.9% recycled pure metal. The maintenance of the copper is simple. You just need water and soap and leave the rest to the copper as it is the most hygienic of all metals and has antibacterial properties. On the other hand, zinc-topped tables offer one significant benefit to consumers, along with their classic appearance: they are non-porous, meaning they are as antibacterial as copper.
